What is Third-Party Plan Review?Plan Review is a very important process of the permitting process with the Department of Planning, which involves examining all drawings for the proposed structure(s) for compliance with building codes and local policies. For a typical project this would be done by Building Control, part of the Department of Planning. Third-Party Plan Review takes this examination process to the private sector, which will hasten the permitting process. Cayman Code Specialists Ltd. is an approved Third-Party Plan Review Agency in the Cayman Islands.

What are Third-Party InspectionsOngoing inspections are required throughout construction, to ensure safety and code compliance. These inspections are typically performed by Building Control (Department of Planning). Third-Party Inspections takes this process to the private sector.
-
What are the benefits of Third-Party Inspections?Going third-party for the inspections on your project ensures that your construction timeline will not be delayed by the inspection process. Currently waiting periods for inspections with Building Control are up to 5 working days (one week), due to the rapid development here in the Cayman Islands. Waiting this long for inspections can severely delay a fast-paced project. In addition to time savings, you can be assured that CCS will provide the highest quality inspections of your valuble property. This can lead to cost savings down the line.
